Junno

September 2024-Present
Junno is a small but passionate digital marketing agency delivering targeted campaigns and meaningful creative work in Athens, Georgia.

The founder of Junno invited me to serve as the startup’s Creative Director. As Creative Director, I began by creating the brand’s visual identity and accompanying print and web assets. I will also manage and create all design work Junno’s clientele.

Logo design iterations and process
For the visual identity, I took the existing logo created by the founder and began brainstorming different ways to represent the brand. The founder wanted the symbol of the target to be included reflecting how Junno will directly target a client’s audience. The founder also stressed simplicity, trust, and efficiency. Dynamism, innovation, and exclusivity were also important.
I wanted to represent the symbol of a target uniquely, so I experimented with many iterations before landing on the final design.

Inspired by the original logo and for cohesion, I repeated the “n” letterform in the logo to create the “j” and “u”. To bring in the target, I decided to use negative space to create the shape of an arrow flying through the letters and ultimately landing at the “o”.

When creating the color palette, I wanted to keep the same vibes the founder had used with black and white. However, I chose not to use pure white or pure black to avoid straining people’s eyes. I also decided to add blue to the palette for a splash of color. Blue was chosen because of its relation to trust, focus, and efficiency in color psychology.
Once the visual identity was finished and approved, I began creating Junno’s first digital and print assets.

We will officially be launching Junno in November 2024, and I am very excited to see where the business goes.
